WINTER’S WET START SET TO CLEAR BY NEXT WEEK

It has been a wet week for the coast but beautiful inland.

The good news is we are going to see a break, the bad news is we still have some rain to come through, but after that the second half of June is looking quite promising.

There is a lot of activity in the bight, the onshore winds are still blowing-in producing some rain clouds and showers today, but that low is pulling away from the coast.

A shower band offshore will see the last of the showers during Thursday. Friday is looking fantastic but cloud will form in the afternoon and by the time we get to Saturday a very slow moving low is going to push that north-west moisture feed right in across the broadcast area. Light periods of rain will occur mainly in New South Wales but that system is going to pass.

We have a big high that is going to come through so it is going to be quite cold again into the early part of next week.
