Well-known Newcastle business Gamers Motor Auctions has gone into voluntary administration.
Just last year, Gamers set up a new base at Steel River, after moving from its home of more than 40 years in Newcastle’s West End.
According to administrators, Jirsch Sutherland, the family business has found operations difficult in the current economic climate.
The original Gamers auction house on Parry Street has been on the market since the relocation.
