Emergency crews have resumed searching for the man missing after his boat capsized off the Gold Coast.
Gavin Studwell, 39, was fishing with a friend a few kilometers offshore, when the boat was pounded by a freak wave, forcing them to jump overboard.
His friend, a woman aged 29, spent hours swimming to shore to raise the alarm.
Rain hampered search efforts yesterday afternoon, forcing helicopters to turn back.
