SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING KAYAKER OFF COFFS HARBOUR

UPDATED: Police have resumed their search for a 24 year old kayaker, missing in surf south of Coffs Harbour.

The man was swept out to sea off Valla Beach, yesterday, after falling off his kayak in dangerous surf.

Polair is now assisting after a land, sea and air search failed to find any trace of the man last night.

It’s believed the man was boating with a friend at around four-o’clock yesterday afternoon, when the pair were thrown into the water in rough seas.

While one made it to shore, the other man hasn’t been seen since.
