North west protestors have continued their campaign against the state government’s draft Strategic Land Use Policy.
They say vital grazing land isn’t protected under the plans, which if implemented, could have a devastating impact on the farming industry.

Can everyone please just stop and think of the consequences of the State Governments Draft Land Use Policy they are allowing mining and Coal Seam Gas to take place on 96% of land in N.S.W. The Government must stop raping our country. For the whole of my life (60 years) the Government has had us saving the environment for future generations now at the speed of light they are hell bent on destroying it. What is our future? I beg you to stop and think, there is no happy outcome without clean water air and food.
It is nothing less than criminal to proceed with coal seam gas development at the current pace , without the benefit of a much more rigorous scientific investigation of all the possible consequences for our land, our water and our people.
