Police say it could be weeks before they can identify a person killed in a firey car crash last night.
Officers say the driver was travelling along Binna Burra Road in the early hours of the morning, when he or she somehow lost control and rolled down an embankment.
” The vehicle has caught fire, most likely as a result of leaving the road, and during that fire the person has been incinerated”
Residents reported hearing firecrackers overnight but didn’t notice the accident until this morning.
Police are now investigating if alcohol and fatigue could have been factors.
