Lyne MP Rob Oakeshott has agreed to personally deliver a letter to Prime Minister Julia Gillard from the Manning Alliance.
The four-page document outlines the community’s concerns about coal seam gas mining in the region.
It also looks at the United States as a case study to highlight the environmental dangers of the practice.
The federal MP has promised to deliver the letter this week.
