MOTORCYCLIST KILLED NEAR PORT MACQUARIE

A motorcyclist believed to be in his 50s has died after colliding with a Hyundai Tucson travelling west along Houston Mitchell Drive near Port Macquarie.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 79-year-old man, was trapped for a short time.

The motorcyclist is yet to be formally identified and a crime scene has been established.

The Pacific Highway has been reduced to one southbound lane, traffic delays are expected.
