A Sydney-based police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in a Newcastle unit.
The male constable is facing four counts of aggravated sexual assault over the alleged incident on the 20th of March.
The officer has been suspended, and is due to appear in Newcastle Local Court on November 30.
