For 25 years the vultures have been circling Gosford Primary School. Those vultures have landed and with the blood of local history on their beaks & talons the last death rattles are heard,killed for dollars and developers’ greed,showing no consideration for the real people who actually live in the CBD.SHAME on you Gosford City Council,mayor Holstein who also expects this community to vote him in at the next state election as Liberal member for Gosford. Also the gutless state government who did exactly what Liberal Holstein wanted.

When the Gosford Public School school was placed on its current Mann Street site that was bounded by the former BAKER STREET, a deal between the Gosford Council and Department of Education was done. The former land that housed Gosford School (now Gosford Technical College) would become HENRY PARRY DRIVE in RETURN for the right to fill in BAKER STREET for additional space for playing field for Gosford Primary School.
KEEP THE SCHOOL ON ITS SITE AND SHOWCASE EDUCATION for a change, instead of squeezing those children between the Electricity Sub station and the High School ….The school would have even more space if the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, REGIONAL OFFICE (located across the road from the school) vacated their cars from the GPS site.
Another thing…the Education Department intends the increased population with high school aged children, that Chris Holstein and his ‘merry men’ of the Gosford Challenge expect in the very near future, to be housed at HENRY KENDALL HIGH…what then for Gosford Public School or should I say ‘HENRY KENDALL PRIMARY SCHOOL’.
If you think every day people of Gosford Region (not the commercial/developer sector that want all of this GOLD COAST BY THE ‘BRISBANE WATER’) is outraged, THINK AGAIN….and it’s not just the parents of this school that are ANGRY.
