Police have found the body of a man, missing in Lake St Clair near Singleton since the weekend.
54-year-old Raymond Terrace grandfather, John Saunders, failed to return from a boating trip on Saturday afternoon.
His aluminium boat was found empty, washed up on the shore.
Various searches were conducted over the past few days.
At three o’clock yesterday afternoon, police divers found his body.
A post mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
