They’re attending a summer school in Newcastle, which is also about encouraging girls to take up careers in the male-dominated fields.

  2. Hello!
I was actually one of the girls who attended the Newcastle Universities Maths+Science=Choices Summer School. It was an amazing experience, and we all had a lot of fun! We had women come to the university to talk about their careers, and we also went out to a number of places to learn about even more careers available for women. The whole thing was very inspiring, and it was reinforced that WOMEN CAN DO ANYTHING! We can do anything men can do (and sometimes we can do it better!)! Thank you so much to the staff and helpers at the Newcastle University for giving us girls this experience!
