As anti-whaling protestors steam into the Southern Ocean to confront the Japanese hunting fleet, a new documentary aims to turn the tide against whaling by more peaceful means.
It follows the whales’ migration along Australia’s east coast, through the eyes of young people.
The documentary has been made by Newcastle film maker Glenn Cook, who hopes it will convince an international audience that whales are worth more alive than dead.
