Newcastle wheelchair athlete Kurt Fearnley has won his fourth straight New York marathon in thrilling fashion
Fearnley came from behind to just edge out South African Krige Schabort in a photo finish.
Both crossed in a time of 1.35.58 but Fearnley was judged the winner, to be unbeaten this year.
If that’s not enough, Kurt will tackle the Kokoda Track in just 7 days time.
