ANOTHER ACCOLADE FOR KURT FEARNLEY

There’s been another accolade for Kurt Fearnley after his incredible efforts in 2018, with his Commonwealth Games campaign, and advocacy for para-sport integration, named the Best Sporting Moment at Thursday’s Australian Institute of Sport awards. KURT FEARNLEY FINISHES FIFTH AT THE LONDON MARATHON

A week after his gutsy gold medal winning performance in the T54 at the Commonwealth Games, Australian wheelchair racer Kurt Fearnley has finished fifth at the London Marathon. FEARNLEY CHECKS OUT GOLD COAST COMM GAMES MARATHON COURSE

Hunter wheelchair racer Kurt Fearnley was on the Gold Coast today, for the announcement of the marathon course for next year’s Commonwealth Games. The 42-kilometre track stretches along the coastline, and will be the same for able-bodied athletes. This is the first time that I line up with my Aussie peers in the Australian uniform and 20 years after I started. The marathon events will be held on the final day of the games.
