  1. just wanted to give my opinion on the siggs death case… i am a 35 year old male. i class myself as a modern citizen. nothing special just me. i had met jacob siggs when he first came to work for me at the young age of 17 i at the time was involved in a company and i had the honour of hiring jake. i worked close with jake as his employer and soon bacame friends. he was a young happy go lucky boy, he was so full of get up and go and he had such an amazing personality that i doubt anyone would dislike. this company closed down and all staff were unemployed. i had some connections in the pet food industrie and got jake a job at (bushs fresh pet foods) and i soon followed to the same company. whilst jake was employed there he was loved and touched the hearts of everyone he worked with and new. i remember one day jake spoke to me about his girlfriend saying how much he really wanted to be with her but she was travelling and had actually planned to go see her. my advise to him was that he seemed pretty confident and if it was what he wanted than to go for it. a month or so later i was told that jake had died in a car accident. it shocked and saddened me deeply he was such a lovely young man. he had so much going for him so much. i still have the smoko memories myself jake and another colleage used to get up to, down at the local bottle shop…. it is such a shame no absolutley appauling to hear that the girl driving was let go… come on cant you be an adult and except what you have done to jake and more so his mother and family. it is wrong every birthday and christmas for jake will just be a wish and a teer. while the guilty spend the rest of there christmas and birthdays with there loved ones sharing a teer of joy and enjoying the happiness. this legally wrong and morally cruel. you did the crime missy so you should except what comes of it. if you had any love for jake as everyone else has than your guilt should play on your mind and make you feel really bad for the rest of your life. you are old enough to make your own decisions to drive a car or go out drinking. you should except the truth and reality and take what you deserve. if it were you your parents and pretty much the world outcast any male driver if it were you….. if… how cruel the system can be.. enjoy your young healthy long long life and i hope you never ever forget jake and never ever stop hearing the cries of his loved ones…
    thank you.

  2. She wasn’t drink driving and every day she has to deal with what has happened so what you have written is totally unnecessary and untrue. She loved Jacob and misses him every day like everyone else.

  3. Nobody wins in such situations, there remain, sadly, many of them daily throughout Australia.

Readers/viewers – can perhaps better appreciate why governments, in relation to novice drivers, impose certain license category ‘conditions’ such as those that reduce ‘negative’ peer pressure driving, done by way of passenger restrictions, vehicle category restriction, driving hour restriction, log book hours etc at the L, P1 &P2 stages – the identified ‘vulnerable’ years.

Much of it based on OS experience and study.

May this young fella rest in sweet peace till united, and his family and friends find peace, comfort and rememberance with the passing time.

May others in turn read and learn from human mistakes made and make serious endeavour to not repeat same.

We can continue to demand the very best ‘vehicle design rules’ the world has to offer, and campaign for the infrustructure and attitude to use it all in mature fashion.

  4. Sarah i feel ur pain at wat Arthur wrote, he is an uniformed 3rd party. Delusional, for starters he didnt get Jake the job, all employees of Bush’s were offered a transfer job at VIP. The time of his paragraph and the many spelling errors tells me he was not of sound mind when writing this. He himself is guilty of continually driving and typing under the influence of sustances.

  5. I did not write the above comment ^^^^ f u lenka it’s not going to work b***h !!! I know it was you

& Arthur can say what he wants Jake was his mate …

  6. I wish he got to meet his nephew, wrestle, laugh, play and cause trouble together. But from the time he left till the time i die, it will always be a tear and a smile. I loved my big brother then and I love him now. i battled depression and defeated it. The pain will never ease or go away, it just sits there waiting to be heard.
