In an attempt to lure the best and brightest to the region from rural areas, Newcastle is hosting a group of high school students, interested in studying health sciences.
35 teenagers from as far afield as Broken Hill are being exposed to university life, while a tour of the John Hunter Hospital has fueled their passion for medicine.
