WYONG DISASTER CENTRE OPEN TO RESIDENTS IN NEED

Two weeks on from the super storm which hit the Central Coast, and Wyong Council has opened its disaster recovery centre.

The centre at the old Wyong Grove Public School is a one stop shop for locals needing advice on issues like insurance and tenancies.

The Mayor says that while the storm will cost council about $1-million in repair works, it also took a big emotional toll on the community.

The centre will be open until May 15.
