MICE ON THE MOVE
Farmers preparing to sow winter crops are being urged to keep a look out for mice on their properties, following a surge in numbers in the state’s west.
There have been regular reports of mice activity at Dubbo and Nyngan.
The Primary Industries Minister, Ian Macdonald, says recent rain will provide more feed for the rodents, which could survive until sowing time.
Farmers are being urged to contact livestock health and pest authorities or agronomists to report any sightings.
