Tamworth Basketball has taken out the Champion Association of New South Wales Award for those with under 2000 members.
2015 saw more than a thousand register to play the sport in the country music capital, with 16 representative teams taking to the floor.
The Under 14s Men’s division one outfit was the most successful, qualifying for the National Championships in September.
