MISSING SURFER’S FAMILY SAY THANK YOU

The family of the Irish tourist who went missing while surfing off Byron Bay on the weekend, has issued a heartfelt thank you to those involved in the search.

In a statement, a spokesperson says:

“On behalf of Stuart’s family both here and back in Ireland we’d like to say a huge thank you for the support especially from the Byron Bay and Tweed Heads Police, Surf Life Saving North Coast, VRA and Australian Maritime Search.”

They’re asking locals to keep Stuart in their thoughts as police continue the search for the 20-year-old.
