This year’s Copeton Freshwater Swim has received a boost, with English Channel world record holder Trent Grimsey announcing he’ll be competing.
The Brisbane-born athlete has won marathon swims across four different continents.
This year, the event will include an under 14’s 600 metre race, while the two kilometre course has been lengthened by 500 metres.
