A Newcastle community is rallying behind a father of two who is battling a rare form of liver cancer.
Corey Hawes was given little chance of survival, but he isn’t giving up, travelling around the world to fight the disease.

Great story on the Hawes family. Don’t know them personally but we have mutual friends in common and my son goes to the same school as their children. Was a great day at the fundraiser in Sunday, hope they raise enough funds. Shame Corey can’t get the right treatment here in Australia and has to go overseas.
