TWO PEOPLE THREATENED AT GUN-POINT NEAR LISMORE

A man will face court after he allegedly threatened two people at gun point in the Northern Rivers.

Police say the incident took place shortly before 1:30pm last Friday, when a 43-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were threatened with a firearm outside a property on Heather Avenue in Goonellabah, outside Lismore.

Among other offences, a 46-year-old man was charged with intimidation, assault, and possessing an unregistered prohibited firearm.
