Police suspect arsonists are to blame for a Broadbeach house fire overnight.
Just after midnight, neighbours called Triple Zero after seeing flames coming from a backroom of the ‘Coral Gables Key’ home.
Crews worked quickly to put out the blaze, which was contained to one room and the roof.
The rest of the single-storey house was smoke and water damaged.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
