A poor third quarter has cost the new-look Black Diamond AFL team in its rep match against Riverina at Newcastle’s No.1 Sportsground.
The hosts looked in control after edging ahead by 12 at the main break, before the the visitors stepped up a gear.
They dominated the third term to open a match winning lead and finish eventual winners 14.18 (102) to 12.7 (79).
