Gold Coast police say a home invasion early on Friday morning was not related to outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Three men kicked in the door of a house on Buring Court, Highland Park around 4am. Three shots were fired into the air and no-one was injured. Two men, aged 27 and 20 who were living in the house were charged with gun and drug offences.
Addressing the media today Police Inspector Steve Pyne said at this stage the incident was not bikie related
“There’s no linkages whatsoever at this stage in terms of this incident and outlaw motorcycle gang activity,” he said.
“Our inquires in relation to the offenders are still continuing.” he said.
Police are seeking information about a white Holden Commodore that was seen in nearby Spumante Street around the time of the incident.
