He’s only been competing for a year, but today Dora Creek’s Luke Martin scored the biggest win of his short career, taking out the NBN-Sparke Helmore Triathlon in Newcastle.
Disappointing that the women barely get a mention in this sport report as well as the printed press(Newcastle Herald). We held our own on that day and beat the majority of the mens field home. We train just as hard and deserve some recognition for this.
Hopefully next years coverage will include some content about the women.
