WOMAN’S BODY FOUND IN CHARRED HOUSE NEAR TAMWORTH

A woman’s body has been found in the remains of a burned house in Tamworth this morning.

Firefighters found the body at the Wallabadah property early this morning.

An 85-year-old-woman had been living in the Coach Street home.

Emergency services believe the fire was caused by a heater.
