It’s been closed off to the public for more than a month but this Wednesday, Byron Bay’s public pool will re-open it’s gates.
Gail force winds on the Australia Day long weekend, battered the facility and it’s adjoining restaurant.
Repair works to the hot water system and pump house walls have almost been completed.
It’s estimated the storm caused around $80 000 worth of damage.
