Northern Inland Regional Waste is celebrating a milestone, with volunteer group gathering this morning to mark its 20th birthday.
The group first met in 19-98 in Tamworth, made up of eight councils and representatives from around the region.
Focusing on going green, the group has created initiatives such as Community Recycling Centres and Household Chemical Cleanouts.
