The Northern Rivers Lodge is the newest addition to charitable men’s fraternity, the Freemasons.
The lodge combines members of the smaller Lismore, Kyogle and Urbenville branches.
“It is up to those men, those brethren to get out there and connect with the Lismore community and say freemasonry is here.”
The 80 members, looking to become part of the community.
“We need to produce a lodge that is active enough to attract young men to it and to put it in Lismore, I think, is the ideal situation compared to smaller peripheral townships.”
