Newly appointed Federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese has appointed Dobell MP Emma McBride as the new Shadow Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Carers.
Ms McBride says her background in the health sector, as well as her personal experience caring for her later father, will help her greatly in her new role.
“For me this is really personal to be able to use my background in mental health and my personal experience as a carer to be able to bring that to this new role. I’m just thrilled to have the change to be able to help people.”
