A tweed community group says a late night bus service aimed at tackling Coolangatta’s drunken crime issues, won’t go far enough.
The Safer Communities Alliance wants the route extended from Kingscliff to Potsville, but the problem is funding.

When I was young, if you were drunk and disorderly in a public place, you got locked up for the night and had to find your own way home.
I know booze buses are not new, they are provided by some clubs.
I hope the pubs in Coolangatta pay for this service if it is their patrons causing the problems.
