Police have arrested a 75-year-old former Scout leader in Taree, after several men came forward with allegations of sexual abuse.
The men came forward to police late last year, claiming they’d been abused during camping and outdoor activities while staying on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The accused was arrested yesterday and charged with 18 offences including indecent assault, buggery and child grooming.
He was refused bail and will front Taree Local Court today.
