An elderly woman has died after a highway crash in Quirindi.
Emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway around 4pm yesterday, after a Holden Commodore and cattle truck collided.
The 86-year-old woman died at the scene.
While a 34-year-old truck driver was taken to hospital uninjured, for mandatory testing.
Police are investigating how the incident occurred.
