Police are appealing for information, after the attempted armed robbery of a fast food restaurant in Mayfield last night.
Just after 11pm, a man wearing a Spiderman mask threatened a 24-year-old employee with a knife.
The man demanded cash from the safe, but was told it couldn’t be opened due to a time-lock system.
He then ran from the store empty handed.
The man’s been described as being in his late teens, about 150-centimetres tall, with a thin build.
He was wearing a black hoodie, with a white long sleeve shirt and dark jeans.
