An investigation is underway by police and Work Cover, following the death of a man in Newcastle overnight.
At around nine o’clock, emergency services were called to a workplace on Wyong Road at Lambton, where they found a 44-year-old man trapped between a vehicle and a wall.
Police say the man was repairing the vehicle when it rolled forward and trapped him.
He sustained extensive injuries and died a short time later.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
