If it’s not a swimming koala, it’s rain trying to steal Burleigh Point Outrigger Canoe Club’s thunder.
The group made international headlines last year, when a koala climbed aboard their craft.
Today, a traditional Hawaiian blessing of new canoes was hampered by wet weather.
“Just to give us an appreciation of this beautiful area we’re in – when the suns out.”
The club is always on the hunt for new members.
