The job prospects of Hunter youth have received a boost, with the PCYC’s Fit for Work project securing more than $400,000 to keep it running here, and in the Illawarra.
The money – from the Greater Charitable Foundation – will assist kids who are disengaged with school to write resumes, prepare for interviews, and build their qualifications.
The 10-week program will be offered at Windale and Newcastle.
