Coffs Clarence police are searching for a man, believed to be involved in the violent bashing of a 50 year-old man at the rear of his Coffs Harbour property on Sunday.
“The victim of that assault has now passed away, and this has become a murder inquiry.”
A 49 year-old female and 41year-old male faced Coffs Harbour local court yesterday, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.
They were granted conditional bail, to reappear in November.
