A jury in Newcastle’s Supreme Court retired late this afternoon to consider its verdict in a two-week murder trial, following the stabbing death of a Hunter Valley woman in November 2011.
Jodi Jurd was stabbed 12 times in the bedroom of her Bellbird home by her former partner Robert Bretherton.
The jury will continue deliberations tomorrow.
