Grafton scout tragedy remembered 80 years on

It’s one of Grafton’s worst tragedies – 13 scouts drowning in the Clarence River, during what was meant to be a Christmas celebration back in 1943.

80 years on, the last known survivor has joined the community, at a special memorial to honour those lost.
