Tuggerah Lakes Police are on the hunt for the driver of a car, who hit a 17-year-old man in Toukley last night.
The teen was crossing Main Road with a friend about 9.20pm, when he was struck.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital with a fractured leg and will undergo surgery.
Police say the driver of the dark coloured Holden Commodore, who was displaying p-plates, fled the scene.
