A 17-year-old boy has been charged with reckless wounding and affray after an incident in West Gosford today.
It’s alleged the teenager used a wheel brace to assault a 30-year-old man at the intersection of Racecourse Road and Central Coast Highway.
Police say the offender, who was driving a silver Mitsubishi Lancer, then fled.
The victim was taken to Gosford hospital with cuts to his arm and head.
The boy was later arrested, and will appear before children’s court in January.
