Molycop to cease steelmaking operations in Newcastle

It’s been making steel for more than a century – but come January, Newcastle’s ‘Molycop’ plant will no longer do so… at the cost of 250 jobs.
The company says it’s been a difficult decision – the union and the federal government, offering workers words of support.
