Budding singers took centre stage in Taree today as they competed for top honours in the 48th Annual Eisteddfod.
Hundreds are expected to take part in the event, which is the largest of it’s kind in regional New South Wales.
“We’re providing a wonderful vehicle for young people to be able to express their musicality, their artistry, their dance and instruments and it’s also teaching them a lot of life skills as well,” Vocal Coordinator Deirdre Sutherland said.
The event wraps up on June 3.
