Caitlin Wood from Maitland has enjoyed her most successful weekend so far in the W Series.
Competing in round five in the Netherlands, Wood qualified sixth, then held her nerve to finish fifth in the main event.
She earned 10 points to jump to 11th overall for the season.
That result also meant she started in the middle of the pack for the first non-championship reverse-grid race of the series, where she finished just outside the top 10.
