Woody into 50 final with comfortable win

The Central Coast’s James Koch missed the final of the blue-riband 100-metres freestyle by just over a second… stopping the clock in 50-point-four-seven.

In the 50-metres backstroke, Kincumber young gun Alexander Foreman narrowly missed the top eight.

But Mingara’s Brad Woodward was a dominant winner in his heat.

The 24-year-old will compete in tonight’s final, followed by his pet event, the 200-Backstroke tomorrow.
