Experienced pilot in critical condition following Hunter Valley crash

Air safety investigators have arrived in the Hunter to try and determine what caused a horrific light plane crash.

The pilot – Dave Jardine – is still fighting for life in hospital and was today praised for getting the aircraft down away from built-up areas.
